Steve Edwards

Steve Edwards founded Edwards in 1997 to provide tailored business services that improve operational performance through proven processes, methodologies, emerging technologies, and practical solutions.

As Founder and a member of the Corporate Board, Steve focuses on strategies that build relationships, respond to changing market conditions, and support sustainable corporate growth while remaining grounded in the company vision and fundamental values.

Steve founded the company around two guiding principles: ethical business practices and employee empowerment. He believes trust and integrity are fundamental to long-term success and that employees should have the resources, support, and opportunities they need to reach their full potential.

Steve originated many of the methodologies used throughout the company and has served as a primary or contributing author for training courses, books, and other professional resources. His background spans engineering, technology, program management, and business performance, giving him a broad perspective on the challenges organizations face as they grow and evolve.

He has also remained active in business and community organizations, including the Project Management Institute, Cybersecurity Association of Maryland, Maryland Chamber of Commerce, Howard County Chamber of Commerce, and Scouting. Steve is an Eagle Scout and a recipient of the NESA Outstanding Eagle Scout Award in recognition of his professional and community contributions.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, along with degree certificates in Engineering Technology and Biomedical Electronics Technology.
