Joe Stoner is the Cybersecurity Solution Area Lead at Edwards Performance Solutions, where he leads cybersecurity initiatives, assessments, and compliance efforts for clients across industries.

With more than six years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, Joe specializes in security control assessments, cybersecurity framework mapping, and helping organizations navigate complex compliance requirements. His work includes frameworks and standards such as NIST SP 800-53, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CMMC 2.0, and NIST SP 800-171.

Joe works closely with organizations throughout the Defense Industrial Base to conduct readiness engagements, identify gaps, and prepare for evolving cybersecurity requirements. His knowledge of regulatory frameworks and security standards helps clients move beyond basic compliance and strengthen their broader security posture.

As a consultant, Joe combines technical cybersecurity expertise with a practical approach to implementation, tailoring recommendations to the environment, risks, and operational needs of each organization. He holds multiple industry certifications, including CCP, Lead CCA, CEH, and CySA+.
