January 12, 2021 — Edwards Performance Solutions is proud to announce our status as a Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) candidate Certified Third-Party Assessor Organization (C3PAO) through the CMMC Accreditation Body (CMMC-AB). In addition to C3PAO, Edwards is also a Registered Provider Organization (RPO), Licensed Partner Publisher (LPP), Licensed Training Provider (LTP), and our Cybersecurity Team are CMMC Registered Practitioners (RPs).
As a candidate C3PAO, Edwards is authorized to provide CMMC assessments for Organizations Seeking Certification (OSC) in the Defense Industrial Base (DIB), using Certified Assessors. C3PAOs are the only organizations authorized to conduct official CMMC assessments against the five Maturity Levels of security practices, from Basic to Advanced, designated by the CMMC-AB.
As both a candidate C3PAO and RPO, Edwards offers advisory CMMC consulting services and support, as well as pre-certification assessments to establish a CMMC plan of action.
