As of January 1, 2022, Edwards appointed Sam Bell as their Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

Sam Bell joined Edwards in 2019 as a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant and serves as the Cybersecurity Assessments Program Manager, responsible for overseeing Edwards NIST 800-53, HIPAA, NIST CSF, and CMMC assessments, as well as managing Vulnerability Scanning and Penetration Testing capabilities.

In his role as Chief Information Security Officer, Sam leverages 35+ years of information technology, security, project management, and process improvement experience to ensure Edwards continuously refines and enhances its ability to protect its clients’ information.

“We are very excited about the value Sam brings to the role of CISO at Edwards. In addition to being a  cybersecurity SME, he is a great program manager,” said Director of Commercial and Cybersecurity Programs, Brian Hubbard. “That is a rare combination and will serve our internal cybersecurity program well, in addition to his continued service to our clients.”

Prior to joining Edwards, Sam spent 16 years at T. Rowe Price in a number of security and program management roles. Sam managed numerous platforms in their Enterprise Security Identity Management infrastructure and established the Enterprise Security Data and Analytics capabilities. In his software program management roles, Sam oversaw multiple software platforms including data warehouse, call center, and translations infrastructures.
