The Cybersecurity Association of Maryland, Inc. (CAMI) Board of Directors announced the election of six new members on November 9. This board will help CAMI position Maryland to capitalize on the tremendous growth expected in the cybersecurity sector, mobilize the state’s unmatched cybersecurity talent for exponential growth, and stake its claim as the birthplace of the industry.

Edwards Performance Solutions’ Director of Commercial and Cybersecurity, Brian Hubbard, was among those newly added and will replace, President and CEO, Gina Abate. Brian is responsible for all strategic Commercial initiatives, as well as development and expansion of Edwards’ Cybersecurity Solution Area. Brian is a strategic business leader with three decades of experience architecting, designing, and developing solutions to address some of the nation’s top cybersecurity challenges. As part of CAMI’s Board, Brian will ensure the continued health and growth of Maryland’s already prominent cybersecurity ecosystem.

Other newly-elected Board of Directors members include, Kate D. Shapiro, SVP of Operations at LaunchTech Communications; Ken Kurz, VP of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at Corporate Office Properties Trust; Timothy Schilbach, CEO of Penacity; Tina Kuhn, President and CEO of CyberCore Technologies; and Tina Williams-Koroma, President and CEO of TCecure.
