Our quality assurance (QA) processes start with planning for quality. A Quality Management Plan and Test Plan are tailored to a specific project, especially a technical or development project. The quality assurance process starts with well-defined testable requirements, and a traceability matrix is used to trace each parsed requirement all the way through to design and testing. Well-designed test cases trace back to each requirements. Failed tests and other problems are recorded and tracked in a Test Report database. After hardware or software system remediation, another round of regression testing is performed, tracked and documented, and the quality control process continues.
Peer reviews are performed for documentation deliverables, with management review of all high-impact deliverables. User guides, technical manuals, and course materials are tested for accuracy by performing walkthroughs. Configuration Management and effective change management and control practices also help ensure quality. The team will maintain, organize, and provide configuration control for software, hardware, and project documents.
Our approach consistently measures performance against requirements to ensure strategic goals and business results are effectively being delivered. Another quality process involves a Lessons Learned analysis that we conduct as part of task order closure, to assist our clients with ongoing organizational, quality, and performance process improvement.
Lastly, we have led compliance efforts on various programs, working with both government employees and contractors to ensure that management and technical deliverables provide value and meet stakeholder requirements. This routine practice of evaluating deliverables for quality and compliance will ensure the Navy consistently receives quality products from our team. In cases where deliverables do not meet expectations, we will initiate and drive to closure the steps required to resolve the identified deficiencies and bring deliverables into conformance, concurrently while providing disposition statuses and in-person reviews and feedback.
